Leopardikuvioiset balleriinat!

Ostin nämä pikaiselta Lontoon reissultani. Yritin kovasti etsiä itselleni sitä Ralph Laurenin klassista palmikkoneuletta, mutta harmikseni sain kuulla, että näin kevää kynnyksellä niitä ei juurikaan valikoimissa ole. Hassua. Oletin, että olisi sen verran klassinen vaatekappale, että sitä löytyisi minä vuodenaikana tahansa? Huoh. Kaipa täytyy malttaa mieli vielä hetken…

Mutta Harrodsissa Ralph Laurenin osaston vieressä oli naisten kenkäosasto, jonka poikkihan oli “pakko” kulkea :D Sieltä sitten löysin nämä Tory Burchin Revy baltsut, joita olen pitkään silmäillyt!

I have been admiring these for a while now… They’ll add that something extra to my black playsuits in the summer <3 I boought these from my brief London visit. Actually, I went into Harrod’s hoping to find the classic Ralph Lauren cable knit, but to my disappointement I heard, that the stockists don’t sell them in this time of the year :/ Well, I guess it was faith that just next to the RL department was the Harrod’s marvellous women’s shoe department…;)

Päivän asua pitkästä aikaa taas! Tässä asussa oli mukava viettää päivä. Balleriinat hellivät jalkoja ja printillinen huivi toi mukavasti syvyyttä muuten tylsään asuun.

Minähän tosiaan aikoinaan kuuluin niihin ihmisiin, jotka kammoksuivat täysin eläinprinttiä… Mutta hiljalleen mieleni alkoi niille lämmetä ja ostinkin pari vuotta taaksepäin tuon leopardihuivin hennesiltä ja olen ollut siihen kovin tyytyväinen. En usko, että dominoivampi eläinprintti vieläkään olisi minun juttuni, mutta juurikin pieninä hienovaraisina yksityiskohtina kyllä piristää asua oikein mukavasti. Hiljattain ostin myös leopradi kuvioiset korkokengät, jotka olen pukenut muuten hyvin neutraalin asun piristäjiksi. Viime Lontoon reissulta tarttui mukaan lisää jotain eläimellistä… Osaatko arvata mitä? :)

Here’s my outfit of the day! Very comfy and quite simple. The leopard printed scarf adds nice depth to the ensemble.

I once belonged to the group of people, who just didn’t see animal print as a part of their wardrobe. However, the more I saw this bold print on the likes of Stockholm Streetstyle, the more I started to warm up to it. Still I can not pull off a very dominant animal print piece – like a jacket for example – but in small details I do think it’s gorgeous.

My first animal print purchase was a H&M scarf, which I have worn a lot since I bought it a few years ago. Recently, I bought another leoprad piece… Can you guess what? :)
